Power Plant Operator (Bekasi)

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Monitor energy consumption and utility usage (water, fuel, etc.), striving to optimize resource usage and improve efficiency while minimizing costs.
• Operate, monitor, and control various utility systems within the power plant, including water treatment, fuel systems, and cooling systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Respond to operational issues and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or system failures, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Adhere to safety regulations and environmental standards, ensuring that utility systems operate safely and in compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance planning, preferably in a power plant area.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems and equipment in a power plant (boilers, pumps, compressors, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and techniques.
• Familiarity with industry standards, safety regulations, and best practices in maintenance planning.
