Captain Barista (Jakarta)

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate the bar team to ensure smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
• Assist in training and mentoring baristas and other bar staff.
• Ensure consistent quality of coffee and beverage preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area.
• Handle customer interactions and resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering.
• Open/close the bar and ensure all procedures are followed.

Requirements :

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; Certifications in coffee-related fields is preferred
• 3+ year as barista; experienced as captain barista is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing methods, and latte art.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for coffee and customer service.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Currently living in Jakarta is preferred.
