Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Overseeing the preparation, cooking, and presentation of a diverse range of culinary dishes
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and safety
• Monitoring and optimizing kitchen workflow to maximize efficiency and productivity
• Providing training and mentorship to junior kitchen staff to develop their skills and expertise
• Actively participating in menu development and implementation
• Ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations
• Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment within the kitchen
Requirements :
• Extensive experience (3+ years) as a CDP or in a similar senior culinary role within the hospitality industry
• Proven track record of leading and managing a high-performing kitchen team
• Excellent culinary skills, with a deep understanding of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
• Passion for creating innovative and visually appealing culinary creations
• Certification in food safety and hygiene management
