Piping Engineer

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Ensure all piping system are designed and constructed in compliance with industry codes, standards, and safety regulation
• Provide technical guidance and support to the production, including problem-solving and troubleshooting complex issue
• Develop detailed piping designs and layout drawings using shipconstructor-2026 and CAD Software
• Conduct pipe calculations for piping systems
• Perform site inspection to verify compliance with design specification and project requirement
• Preparing and reviewing piping material specification, valve material specification, speciality item datasheets, piping material take off (MTO), and manual valve MTO, other piping inline compenents.

Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree Naval Architecture or Polytechnic/Institute (is plus)
• Min 3 years Experience in Piping Engineer in-depth knowledge and expertise in piping basic and detailed design
• Familiar with project tugboat, CPO, and SPOB
• Familiar with piping design calculation
• Familiar with standard piping ASME, ASTM, API, ANSI
• Proficient in using with working knowledge of 3D piping modelling tools shipconstructor 2026 software
• Communicative and able to work under pressure
