Instrument Engineer

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Design, install, and maintain instruments and control systems for oil and gas operations, ensuring the safe and efficient monitoring and control of processes.
• Perform detailed engineering and analysis of instrument systems, including flow, pressure, temperature, and level measurements, as well as control valves and actuators.
• Develop and review technical specifications, procedures, and documentation related to instrument systems and equipment.
• Provide technical support for commissioning, startup, and ongoing operations of instrumentation and control systems in the field.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrumentation systems to minimize downtime and improve system performance.
• Conduct regular calibration, maintenance, and inspections of field instruments and control systems.
• Work closely with the operations, mechanical, and electrical teams to ensure integrated system performance and reliability.
• Assist in the preparation of project budgets, timelines, and technical reports related to instrumentation activities.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Physics/ Instrument Engineering.
• Min. 5 years of experiences in oil & gas industry / oil & gas services.
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining field instrumentation, control systems, and related equipment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office management software.
• Fluent in both written and spoken English.
