Duty Manager – Shangri-La Surabaya
Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Ensure smooth operation on a daily basis
• Enhance overall guest experience during their stay
• Supervise & direct the front desk team, assisting in guest problem solving
• Ensure all colleagues are kept up-to-date with hotel products and services
• Monitor all arrivals and departures from a guest experience perspective
• Coordinating with housekeeping & other departments to ensure high quality service & accuracy is delivered
• Ensure work process and performance are in compliance with Company practices, policies, and Shangri-La Service Standards
• Ensure all Emergency response attend in timely manner and address accordingly
Requirements :
• Takes pride in being a hotelier
• Friendly, loves interacting with guests from all backgrounds
• Has strong Leadership skill in a positive manner and approach
• Loves challenges must be detail-focused and guest oriented
• Strong interpersonal and Problem Solving Skill
• Fully understands room operations and Opera Management System
• High proficiency in English both in written and spoken
• Has experience in the similar capacity, of International 5 star Hotel group
• Preferably comes from a hotel management-related education background
• Agile, strong analytical and critical thinking
