Accounting and Tax Coordinator – Siloam Hospitals Balikpapan
Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Coordinating all work in the unit, including administrative supervision as well as quality and safety improvement programs, in accordance with operational policies and procedures that have been established by management to ensure the smoothness and continuity of services in the Accounting section
• Monitor the procurement, addition, repair and maintenance of tools, goods and other inventory used to meet the operational needs of the Accounting section
• Ensure the availability, accuracy and completeness of reports and administrative data from Accounting Staff required as supporting financial reports
• Analyze and create financial reports from existing data, including budget versus actual reports for use by related parties in supporting operational activities at the Hospital
• Monitor the activities of receiving, disbursing and destroying hospital assets to support hospital services related to existing assets
• Coordinating and supervising the implementation of stock taking as well as providing reports and analyzing stock differences in each warehouse
• Collect and prepare required data and/or create reports related to financial transactions for use by interested parties, including for use in the audit process or as material for analysis of unit/department quality targets
• Provide guidance and carry out personal and professional development, including orientation regarding safety procedures and practices, as well as conducting evaluations to ensure worker competency in accordance with applicable rules, laws and regulations as well as hospital needs.
• Implement and supervise procedures and practices for quality and safety services, including participating in training, collecting data, documenting and/or making reports needed to support the achievement of hospital wide indicators and related department/unit targets
Requirements :
• Bachelor Degree from Accounting
• Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations applicable to healthcare organizations
