Pharmacy Services Department Head – Siloam Medika Canggu
Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Carry out pharmaceutical management/supply according to hospital service needs based on Hospital Policy, applicable laws and regulations and other regulations made in order to emphasize and assist the duties and responsibilities of each individual.
• Manage pharmaceutical supplies in hospitals, ensuring the safety of benefits and the best quality according to established standards.
• Plan and prepare SOPs required by the department as well as pharmacy department work program reports that are in accordance with the hospital’s vision and mission
• Implement and monitor the hospital wide indicator measurement program in line with improvement priorities selected by hospital leadership.
• Guiding and developing staff personally and professionally, as well as evaluating worker competency in accordance with applicable legal regulations and hospital needs.
• As Secretary of the Pharmacy and Therapy / KFT Committee, ensuring that the meeting agenda and work program run well.
• Building good relationships with internal parties (doctors, nurses, and other supporting departments) and external parties to the hospital (suppliers, government agencies, other hospitals, etc.) in order to achieve optimal service performance and improve service quality.
• Participate in quality improvement by documenting every incident that occurs in the department in accordance with the department’s quality objectives.
• Monitor and evaluate the overall implementation of pharmaceutical service activities including assessing staff performance so that it meets established standards.
Requirements :
• Bachelor/Master Degree from Pharmacy
• Have minimum 2 years work experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable, as it provides familiarity with the specific challenges and dynamics of hospital pharmacy services.
• Strong leadership and management skills to effectively oversee department operations and staff.
• In-depth understanding of regulatory requirements and standards for pharmacy practice.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
