Job Description

Task and Responsibilities :

• We’re looking for a lead of Market View for Jiva India (AgriCentral) with solid track in working with market prices of various commodities or trading in commodities. The role requires oversight of many moving pieces, so you must have an excellent eye for detail and effectively prioritize tasks. You must possess a strong combination of business acumen, strategic thinking, and analytical skills. You must also be adept at collaborating with multiple stakeholders amid a somewhat unstructured operating domain.
• Lead and own Market View feature of the App from all respects.
• Scout for new markets and crops’ prices and price sources.
• Managing and optimizing the network of price sources like freelancers, traders etc.
• Continuous updating of market prices and other parameters on the app.
• Ensuring that prices are accurate, timely and relevant for farmers.
• Building analytics and insights basis price and trading data.
• Working with bulletin team to feed price information and trends.
• Continuous improvement and upkeep of Market View feature in the app.
• Track and own key metrices like: number of users and sessions on market view , time spent and repeated visits, demo, integration support and query resolution for enterprise customers.

Requirements :

• Overall experience of 5+ years with 2+ years’ of solid track in market price collection/dissemination and/or data analytics
• Excellent command over MS-excel esp. formulae like lookups, Whatif analysis, Masters’ degree in any stream or graduation in engineering/science from a reputed institute.
• Familiarity with India’s commodity trading systems and value chain as well as network in the trade sources will be valued.
• Exposure to Software as a Service (SaaS) sales/presales and Relationship
• Management (CRM) will be valued.
• Familiarity with analytical tools like Google analytics, Clevertap etc will be useful.
