Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• In general, Legal Assistant Manager will work closely with our legal staff in Head Office and Factory to ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations in local and overseas, managing contract negotiations and litigation. This role will also support legal head and compliance to provide strategic support to various departments, enhancing overall efficiency and alignment with our business objectives.
• Oversee and manage all legal operations, ensuring the company complies with foreign investment law and corporate law.
• Work closely with legal team member in drafting, reviewing and negotiating to protect the company’s interests, including maintain all business licenses of the company.
• Collaboration with various departments to ensure legal risks are identified and mitigated in business operations, event and projects.
• Coordinate with General Affairs team for the end-to-end process of land acquisition/purchase, including land surveys, land release, and permitting.
• Prepare reports and present legal insights to the team to inform strategic decisions.
• Stay up-to-date with legal developments in the food and beverages industry and advise the company on any changes or potential impacts.
• Handle legal disputes, manage litigation processes, and liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
• Assist in the creation and implementation of legal policies, rules, and guidelines.

Requirements :

• Holds a bachelor’s degree in law from a reputable university
• Has a minimum of 6 years of legal experience including managing a team, with mixed background as an in-house counsel or external lawyer.
• Has strong understanding of foreign investment law and corporate law.
• Experience in handling contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Experience in handling all business license and investment activity reports (LKPM) through Online Single Submission (OSS).
• Have an advocate license (member of PERADI).
• Proven experience in handling litigation case.
• Excellent communication, both written and verbal in English.
