Specialist Design Engineer – Jakarta

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Accountable for providing all engineering requirements for Balance of Plant and overall system.
• Accountable for collecting reference data and analyze on the system requirements based on customer system requirement including engine system, propeller design, Bill of Materials, etc.
• Accountable for communicating and consulting to CAT/other vendors on Balance of Plant and overall system specs, compliance, or technical issues.
• Accountable and responsible for developing Naval engineering documents.
• Accountable and responsible for developing and communicating equipment package proposal to customer.
• Accountable and responsible for developing overall system design by clarifying and capturing customers’ requirements and communicate the adjustment to related stakeholders.
• Responsible for ensuring SH and E, legal and corporate procedures compliance are implemented properly.
• Responsible for providing inputs regarding package fabrication and assembly, control and instrument Integration, and fabrication shop test during project delivery by the project team.
• Responsible for communicating with CAT or other vendors in order to gather data or resolve issue in the proposal development.
• Responsible for developing proposal from the project management perspective.
• Accountable and responsible for Mechanical, Civil and Electrical engineering design.
• Accountable and responsible for defining system and balance of plant requirements.
• Responsible for understanding project need.
• Responsible for performing feasibility study and develop pre-proposal from technical perspectives.
• Accountable and responsible for delivering project based on agreed contract and according to appointed roles, including and not limited to become Project Manager, Site Manager, Project Engineer, Commissioning Engineer and/or QA/QC.

Requirements :

• Minimum S1 in Electrical Engineering major
• GPA minimum 2.75
• Minimum 3 years experience in Power Systems Industry
