Job Description

A F&B Company in Medan, North Sumatera ​is looking for a talented and enthusiastic Head of HR (Full-time)

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute a strong global employer branding strategy to attract and retain top talent
• Design and implement HR strategies, policies and initiatives that align with the company’s vision and business goals
• Act as a strategic HR advisor to senior management, providing insights on key people-related matters.
• Lead talent management efforts including recruitment, learning & development, performance management and compensation & benefits
• Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR policies, best practices and compliance with employment laws
• Collaborate with leadership to create succession planning strategies and develop leadership pipelines
• Foster an inclusive and healthy workplace culture that promotes diversity, equal opportunity and employee engagement
• Develop and implement strategic recruitment and retention plans to meet business needs
• Ensure effective hiring, onboarding and management processes that support a diverse workforce
• Oversee HR administration including employee relations, compliance and operational HR support
• Manage corporate affairs including company transportation, expatriate requirements, office needs, industrial relations and event permits
• Ensure HR operations are efficient, compliant and aligned with organizational needs
• Handle any ad-hoc tasks assigned by management to support business objectives

Requirements :

• Indonesia Citizen
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Proven at least 5 years of experience working as a Head of HR or in a related position
• Background in real estate, hospitality (preferably international chains), food & beverage or retail industries would be a plus
• Strong knowledge of local employment laws, government regulations, and permit requirements
• Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and foster a positive work culture
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees at all levels
