Junior Sous Chef
Job Description
A restaurant in Canggu is looking for a Junior Sous Chef!
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on menu planning and recipe development
• Provide input for creating innovative and seasonal menu items
• Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, and presentation
• Lead and motivate kitchen staff, ensuring a positive work environment
• Train new staff on kitchen operations, recipes and food safety standards
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
• Monitor kitchen cleanliness and maintenance
• Address issues related to food preparation, kitchen operations or team performance promptly
Requirements :
• Indonesian citizen
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Proven experience working as a Junior Sous Chef or in a related position
• Strong culinary skills with expertise in a variety of cuisines.
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
