Mechanic – Disney Cruise Line – Jakarta

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Participate in personal and ship safety programs onboard – attends fire and boat drills, other safety drills, and safety meetings
• Perform other duties as directed by the First Engineer or Senior Second Engineer

Requirements :

• Minimum one year experience in large cruise vessels working as a Mechanic
• Two years experience as Repairman on large cruise vessels preferred
• Must have worked with Medium Speed marine diesel engines in a repair/maintenance capacity
• General workshop fitting
• Must be proficient in the following skills: Welding, Electric – Gas, Mig – Tig
• Turning and all lathe work
• Fitting and general machining
• Fabrication including sheet metal work and pipe work
• Must have an above average command of the spoken and written English language
• Must be flexible and self motivated
• Must have the highest levels of honesty and integrity
