F&B Director
Job Description
A Hotel Management Company in Ubud, Bali is looking for a talented and enthusiastic F&B Director (Full-time)
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Develop and improve foundational documentation for the F&B department including SOPs, SOMs, P&Ps and training manuals
• Conduct performance reviews and operational assessments for all F&B outlets
• Map outlets’ performance to identify strengths and areas for improvement
• Set clear operational goals and KPIs for each outlet
• Work closely with outlet F&B leaders to align on targets and strategies
• Conduct competitor analysis and market research to stay updated on trends
• Oversee menu engineering to optimize offerings and profitability
• Manage pre-opening activities including concept creation, layout planning, equipment selection, SOP setup, menu design and staff training
• Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and contractors for setup, upgrades and maintenance
• Ensure F&B staff are well-trained and deliver excellent service across all outlets
• Monitor and optimize social media, website, reservation platforms and online reviews for all outlets
• Conduct regular outlet visits, operational audits and staff training sessions
• Serve as the corporate representative at units as well as ensuring alignment with corporate strategies
• Lead monthly meetings with restaurant leaders to review performance and address challenges
• Analyze financial reports, track revenue and develop strategies to achieve financial targets
• Oversee operations during dinner service to ensure high-quality customer experiences
Requirements :
• Indonesian citizen
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Proven at least 3 years of experience working as a F&B Director or in a related position
• Experience in both hotel and independent restaurant operations
• Previous experience in Ubud or similar markets would be a plus
• Strong understanding of restaurant financial reports, budgeting and cost control
• Presentation and negotiation skills
• Background in bartending or strong service management experience
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for excellence
