Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Operate and clean all waste related equipment and facilities
• Promote the ship’s waste management and environmental programs
• Receive, process, store and discharge waste on board the ship
• Monitor DCL Waste Management Policy, regarding separation
• Familiar with all safety and technical equipment used in the waste management facility
• Familiar with and complies the safety and Environmental policy
• See that waste handling procedures are in accordance with USPH regulations

Requirements :

• Six months to one year experience as Garbage Handler on large cruise or passenger vessel preferred
• General Deck experience considered
• Flexible in day-to-day activities
• Good communication skills
