Assistant Carpenter – Disney Cruise Line – Yogyakarta

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Perform a daily sounding of tanks and void spaces
• Participate in fire fighting, first aid, personal survival, and promotes health, safety and anti-pollution programs
• If required, take part in standby on the mooring deck for anchoring duties
• Familiar with and complies the safety and environmental policy
• Promote the ship’s waste management and Environmentality programs

Requirements :

• Six months to one year experience as Carpenter on large cruise vessel preferred
• Furniture carpentry experience required
• Previous carpentry experience considered
• Should have the ability to use power tools
• Strong leadership ability
• Good communication skills
• Flexible in day-to-day activities
• Basic computer knowledge
