2nd Electrical Technician – Virgin Voyages – Yogyakarta

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Assists in the safe and efficient repair, maintenance and testing of all electrical equipment and systems aboard the vessel
• Performs electrician call out duties during night hours as per the ship rotation ensuring prompt attention is given to safety issues and passenger complaints
• Repairs and maintains all Hotel electrical installations including the Galley
• Permitted to only operate and work on LV circuits and equipment <220V unsupervised
• Ensures that planned maintenance assigned to their discipline is conducted and reported

Requirements :

• Must hold ET Rating III/7 Certificate
• Must have STCW Certificate
• Minimum 3 years experiences as Electrical Technician ashore
• Strong English written and verbal skill
