QA / QC Welding / NDE

Job Description

Requirements :

• Minimum 3 (three) years of experience in QA/QC Welding / NDE for electrical facility projects, with a minimum educational background of Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Engineering; or
• Minimum 7 (seven) years of experience in QA/QC Welding / NDE for electrical facility projects for candidates with Senior High School (SMA/SMK) educational background.
• Mandatory to hold valid QA/QC Welding certification issued by MIGAS.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, NDE methods (RT, UT, MT, PT), and applicable Oil & Gas standards and codes.
• Experience in preparing and implementing QA/QC plans, Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), Procedure Qualification Records (PQR), and Welder Qualification Records (WQT).
• Familiar with international standards and codes such as ASME, AWS, API, ISO, and project specifications.
• Able to perform welding inspections, NDE supervision, verification, and quality documentation prior to commissioning and handover.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements related to welding and NDE activities.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective coordination with engineering, construction, and third-party inspection teams.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project schedule and quality requirements.
