Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Lead and inspire a team of kitchen staff including sous chefs, line cooks and other kitchen personnel
• Oversee and manage all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation
• Collaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative and enticing menus that showcase creativity and culinary excellence
• Conduct regular inspections and tastings to ensure that all dishes meet the company’s standards and specifications
• Train and develop kitchen staff on culinary techniques, recipes and procedures
• Oversee inventory control including ordering, receiving and monitoring food and supplies
• Maintain open and effective communication with other departments including front-of-house staff and management to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration

Requirements :

• Indonesian citizen
• Proven experience working as a Head Chef, Sous Chef or in a similar role
• Excellent in written and spoken English communication
• Proven 4 years of experience working in a Restaurant Leadership position
• Strong attention to details and creativity in menu development and food presentation
• Ability to oversee and manage kitchen operations effectively
• Has leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Ability to remain productive and focused in a fast-paced environment
