Restaurant Manager (Bandung)

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Manage the daily operations of the cafe, including scheduling, inventory management, maintaining a clean and organized environment, staffing, and ensuring quality customer service.
• Maintain excellent customer service by ensuring all customers are satisfied and their needs are met.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving any issues that may arise and creating a welcoming and positive environment.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and manage all employees, including front and back of house staff.
• Monitor and manage expenses, including food costs, labor costs, and inventory.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality products.
• Implement and enforce all health and safety regulations, including food safety and sanitation.
• Collaborate with the head office to develop, manage and execute marketing campaigns to increase sales and drive customer traffic.
• Develop and manage budgets, including forecasting and financial reporting.
• Provide daily, weekly, monthly, and other regular reports.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve any issues that may arise.

Requirements :

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field
• 3+ years of experience as Cafe Manager, Restaurant Manager, or similar position.
• Strong English skills both written and spoken.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to understand other people and maintain a people-first attitude.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make effective decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of food preparation and kitchen management.
• Knowledge of financial management and budgeting.
• Knowledge of recruiting and staff management.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Good understanding of useful computer programs.
• Currently living in Bandung is preferred.
