Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Responsible for a specific section of the kitchen (e.g., pastry, sauces, fish).
• Prepares and cooks dishes according to established recipes and standards within their section.
• Supervises and trains junior cooks within their section.
• Ensures proper food storage, preparation, and inventory management within their section.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of their designated section.
• Follows safety and sanitation guidelines.
Requirements :
• Minimum High school or diploma in culinary arts or related fields.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience in a professional kitchen, ideally in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, ingredients, and procedures within their specialty.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain quality.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Available to work on flexible hours.
