Farming Data Analytics

Job Description

JALA is looking for a Farming Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will act as a technical assistant and manage a robust data infrastructure to support efficient shrimp farm operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Collect data from various sources, including sensors, IoT devices, and manual recording systems.
• Clean, process, and integrate data from diverse sources into a format suitable for analysis.
• Design and build databases and data pipelines to effectively store and manage data.
• Develop predictive models and analyses to optimize shrimp production, such as harvest forecasting, disease detection, and feed optimization.
• Create interactive dashboards and reports to provide management with insights into farm performance, and analyze historical and real-time data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field. Freshgraduate welcome to apply.
• Experience with machine learning and data mining.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts and data architecture.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Interest in the fisheries industry, particularly shrimp aquaculture.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
• Critical thinking and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate analysis results effectively.
• Interest in the fisheries industry, particularly shrimp aquaculture.
• Willingness to be stationed in Lalombi, Sulawesi Tengah
