Project Control Engineer

Job Description

We’re looking for an experienced Project Control Engineer from Licensor Coordination and FEED to EPC provisional acceptance and care and custody transfer to operations. Support project control activities for the SAF Plant Project from FEED to EPC provisional acceptance and transfer to operations in achieving project goals related to HSE, quality, schedule, and cost. This role will be reporting to the Project Control Manager.

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement project control procedures for all project phases (Licensor, FEED, EPC).
• Establish document control and progress reporting systems with Licensor and Consultant contractors.
• Create and maintain project dashboards, status reports, and MIS updates.
• Assist in budget management, cost control, and contingency planning or recovery planning.
• Implement change management processes for cost and schedule adjustments.
• Support EPC bidding procedures, bid coordination, and evaluations.
• Maintain a risk register and assist in risk mitigation strategies.
• Participate in risk workshops with contractors and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with PMT and external contractors to ensure project control alignment.
• Coordinate with the accounting team for cost reporting and control.
• Monitor project performance, ensure schedule and cost mitigation
• Provides schedule analysis based on remaining duration, productivity, resources and other related even occurs.
• Drive contractor to develop and maintain level 4 schedule and up level
• Do forecast progress trends to anticipate any delay in the future.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Project Management, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
• 7+ years of project control experience in the Oil/Gas industry, ideally refineries or petrochemical sector with EPC project exposure.
• Experience in EPC Contractor Project Control (Owner-side experience is highly preferred), including Site experience during Construction and Commissioning
• Strong knowledge of cost control, budgeting, scheduling, and change management.
• Proficiency in project control tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Projects), reporting and & presentation paper
• Familiar with Office 365 (Excel, Power BI preferred)
• Experience with ERP/EAM software (e.g., SAP)
• Good communication, keen looking for data/root cause and assist for problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Involvement in EPC invitation to bid (ITB) preparation and tender evaluation
