R&D Chef
Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Proficient in both modern and classical culinary techniques (Western, Asian, and Indonesian cuisines).
• Creative, innovative, and sensitive to F&B trends, with strong skills in menu presentation and plating.
• Skilled in food costing, portion control, and food safety standards.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and detail-oriented mindset.
• Able to collaborate effectively across departments (Operations, Central Kitchen, Marketing, Training, and Supply Chain).
• Adaptive to feedback and quick in iterating recipes.
Requirements :
• Minimum education of Diploma (D3) or Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Culinary Arts, Food Technology, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in food R&D, preferably in a restaurant or coffee shop setting
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food safety standards
