Server Engineer

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Server Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor server performance within a 24/7 environment to ensure systems are operating smoothly.
• Issue Resolution: Address and resolve server-related issues within specified timeframes in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Troubleshooting & Escalation to Principle : Identify and resolve server issues, including those related to the operating system and server applications.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare routine reports on server performance and status using Office applications (Excel, Word).

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Prior experience as a server engineer or in a similar role is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of Linux operating systems, especially Red Hat, Oracle Linux, or other variants.
• Knowledge of Solaris and Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) for reporting and documentation purposes.
• English proficiency.
• Willingness to work in a shift system.
