IT System Analyst (with ETL and Data Warehouse Experience)

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Analyze business and technical requirements to support the development and enhancement of data mart and data warehouse solutions.
• Perform data mapping from multiple source systems into the existing data warehouse architecture.
• Create and maintain key documentation such as Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Technical Specification Documents (TSD).
• Execute and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for integrating and transforming data from various sources (including manual files and external systems) into target databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data migration from development to production environments.
• Conduct data validation, technical testing, and provide implementation support to Data Engineers.
• Coordinate the circulation of technical documents and collect necessary approvals from stakeholders.
• Recommend and implement technical improvements and process optimizations to ensure high-quality data operations.
• Serve as a bridge between business users and technical teams, translating requirements into effective data-driven solutions.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in systems analysis, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and technical documentation.
• Strong understanding of ETL concepts, data pipelines, and integration workflows.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing (DWH) architecture and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and database management.
• Familiarity with data mapping, data modeling, and validation techniques.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

ETL Tools (custom scripting or SQL-based ETL processes)
Excel – for data analysis and preparation
DBeaver, TOAD, Aqua Data Studio – for database querying and development
Oracle Database or other relational database platforms
