SAP S/4HANA FI/CO Implementation

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead or support the design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, CO, Asset Accounting, Group Reporting) for retail-specific financial processes.
• Configure financial structures to support store-level profitability, sales audit integration, cost center reporting, and inventory accounting.
• Ensure accurate and compliant configuration aligned with IFRS requirements, including multi-ledger setups, parallel valuation, and asset accounting.
• Support the implementation of tax determination, reporting, and compliance processes across multiple Asia Pacific jurisdictions (e.g., GST/VAT, withholding tax, e-invoicing).
• Enable seamless integration between Finance and Logistics modules (MM, SD, Inventory Management) to support real-time accounting and financial transparency.
• Participate in data migration, including chart of accounts harmonization, cost/profit center hierarchies, and open item conversion.
• Collaborate closely with finance and business stakeholders to ensure SAP functionality aligns with internal controls, compliance mandates, and local reporting needs.
• Design and support SAP Fiori apps, KPIs, and embedded analytics tailored to the retail finance function for enhanced decision-making.
• Contribute to project lifecycle activities including SIT, UAT, training, cutover planning, and post-go-live support.
• Align solution design with SAP Clean Core principles, leveraging SAP BTP and in-app extensibility to minimize customizations.

Requirements :

• Proven experience in SAP Finance consulting with at least one full-cycle S/4HANA implementation in a retail industry environment.
• Deep functional knowledge of SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO (Cost Center, Profit Center, Internal Orders, COPA) with integration to MM and SD.
• Strong understanding of IFRS financial principles, including dual ledger accounting, intercompany reconciliation, and asset lifecycle management.
• Hands-on experience supporting Asia Pacific tax regulations, including GST/VAT, withholding tax, e-invoice compliance, and local statutory reporting.
• Practical knowledge of retail accounting, COGS tracking, margin analysis, and store-level financial consolidation.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, embedded analytics, and S/4HANA standard reporting tools.
• Understanding of SAP Clean Core strategy and SAP BTP extensibility models.
• Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Proven ability to work across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced retail transformation environment.
