Chef de Partie Pastry – Four Seasons Yachts – Jakarta
Job Description
Tasks and Responsibilities :
• Responsible for executing a variety of pastry items, including petits gâteaux, homemade pastries, and special amenities, while maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, quality, and creativity.
• Responsibility is to prepare and serve pastry items efficiently, showcasing both traditional techniques and modern pastry artistry.
• Contribute to a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations by delivering high-quality, beautifully presented pastries and desserts.
• Engage with guests to share knowledge about pastry techniques and ingredients, enhancing their dining experience and fostering appreciation for fine desserts.
Other Duties and Responsibilities :
• Uphold strict standards of food safety and hygiene, conducting regular checks on ingredients and finished products to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and communicate needs for restocking to the Sous Chef.
• Work closely with the Chef de Cuisine – Pastry and Bakery and kitchen team to ensure smooth communication and coordination within the kitchen.
Requirements :
• Minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated pastry experience in a professional kitchen, with a focus on luxury hospitality or yacht/cruise line operations preferred.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency in English are essential.
Preferred :
• Fluency in additional language(s)
• Cruise Ship Experience.
Required computer skills :
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Possess sufficient computer knowledge to use the company software.
