Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Delegate, monitor and review the steward operational responsibilities, assist, instruct and provide guidance, operating equipment, handling chemicals and waste
• Manage operating equipment inventories
• Ensure practices are in place to minimize breakage and chemical consumption
• Assist in monitoring operating equipment inventories, chemical consumption and breakage
• Instruct and guide Crew of all equipment and chemicals, cleaning and sanitation procedures

Requirements :

• Minimum two years experience in food service management
• Ship experience preferred
• Vessel Sanitation Program certificate or equivalent degree preferred
• Able to work with chemicals and MSDS safety sheets
• Excellent technical and functional understanding of the ship based food and beverage operation
