Supervisor Engineering Process

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Directly supervise, mentor, and coach a team of process engineers
• Assign projects and tasks to team members based on skills, availability, and project priorities
• Conduct performance reviews, set individual and team goals, provide continuous feedback and career development guidance
• Review and approve key process engineering deliverables for technical accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
• Serve as the highest level of technical authority within the team for complex problem solving and trouble shooting
• Work with project managers to define the process engineering scope, budget, and schedule for new project
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduces cost, improve yield, and increase plant reliability

Requirements :

• Bachelor Degree in mechanical or industrial applied engineering is preferred
• Minimum 5 years experience in process engineering in manufacturing industry, min. 2 years in a leadership or senior engineer role
• Professional Engineer (P.E) lisence is highly desirable and often required
• Expert in process simulation (Aspen HYSYS, ChemCAD), P&ID development, hydraulic calculations, and process safety
• Strong communication, problem solving, delegation, and mentoring skills
• Understanding of budgeting, project management, and business case development
