Illustrator Staff (Sparks English)

Job Description

Tasks and Responsibilities :

• Create custom illustrations for learning materials, including educational visuals, themed characters, and unique learning resources.
• Adapt existing program characters into different poses and expressions as needed.
• Develop illustrations for specific teaching themes, such as designing unique robots, environments, or objects that are not readily available online.
• Design engaging and clear social media graphics to promote our programs and initiatives.
• Ensure all illustrations and designs align with our existing visual style and brand identity.
• Collaborate with the curriculum team to understand illustration needs and ensure designs enhance the learning experience.
• Work closely with the marketing team to create visually appealing social media content.
• Maintain organized files and design assets for easy access and future use.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a Visual Designer, Illustrator, or a similar role, preferably having experience creating illustrations for children’s educational content
• Strong portfolio showcasing both illustrations and graphic design work.
• Proficiency in digital illustration tools (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or other relevant software).
• Ability to adapt existing character designs into new poses and expressions while maintaining consistency.
• Experience creating illustrations for educational materials is a plus.
• Strong understanding of composition, color, and typography in graphic design.
• Experience in designing social media posts, including knowledge of best practices for readability and engagement.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
